Reot 27 JAN 13
Sir,
GOVERNMENT HOUSE,
HONGKONG. 7th. January, 1913.
49605
Referring to your Despatch llo. 195 of the 28th.
June last, I have the honour to state that the Registrar of Com -panies, being also Registrar of the Court, is directly under and associated with the Court departmentally, and it was accordingly
considered expedient that the Court should, under section 14 (1) of the Limited Partnerships Ordinance 1912, appoint the fees to be paid for clerical work in the Registry. With regard to the use of the word "appoint" the Chief Justice has fixed the fees by rule.
The fees to be fixed by the Governor-in-Council
2.
under Section 15 involve perhaps broader considerations.
I have the honour to be,
Sir,
Your most obedient,
humble servant,

Governor,&c..
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE
LEWIS HARCOURT, M.P.,
